Therapy for
College Students

Ages 18+

College is a time of immense change, new expectations, new identities, and new pressures, often all at once. Many students come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, perfectionism, depression, or a relentless inner critic that never seems to turn off. Others are navigating big life transitions like starting college, coming out, living independently for the first time, or questioning who they are and where they belong.

I work with college students and young adults who feel deeply, think a lot, and often carry more than they let on. You may be high-achieving but exhausted, introspective but self-critical, or motivated by growth while feeling stuck or unsure of yourself. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and develop skills that help you feel more grounded and confident as you move forward.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and mets you where you are at and where you’d like to go. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help young adults better understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

Together, we’ll work on practical tools for managing anxiety and mood, while also exploring identity, values, and what it means to build a life that feels authentic to you.

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
